General Description
The Niagara is quite a decently sized ship, she is long and thin unlike most of the other brigs which are usually relatively short and fat.
Armament
The Niagara can mount either 32pd carronades or 9pd cannons for both her stern chasers and main battery.

Characteristics
The Niagara being so long and thin has great speed at all points of sail (for a square rigger that is), she has good structure being the same as the Navy brig and Mercury, she does however turn slower but this should not be a problem thanks to her excellent speed and massive fire power for a brig.
Here is the Sailing Profile for the Niagara; she sails much like the other brigs - doing well at any point from a beam reach and beyond but sailing at her fastest at point 135. Like the Mercury, the Niagara is relatively forgiving when pushed further upwind than a beam reach to around point 75, but after that will suffer a rapid speed decrease. Overall, she is one of the stronger sailers of the brigs in the game, but does not compare favourably to your other option at the same rank; the Cerberus light frigate.

You can get the Niagara by breaking up Niagaras or you can get it by crafting Mercuries.
